What does a racking inspection involve?

The primary goal is to avoid any accidents by ensure your racking is safe. We’ll check key areas including racking components to make sure they’re not damaged, missing or overloaded. Be aware that our inspectors will also be making a note of any other potential problems that could cause an accident such as incorrectly stored pallets in our report.

SEMA approved inspectors

Storage Equipment Manufacturers' Association Limited (SEMA) was first launched in 1968, and have been ensuring storage systems are up to standard since. Our inspections are carried out by a SEMA Approved Racking Inspector, and any faults or issues will be carried out by SEIRS approved fitters.

How often do I need an inspection?

HSE currently recommend a racking inspection at least once a year to ensure you stay safe and compliant with current legislation. Please note that this inspection will need to be carried out by a SEMA approved inspector. Simply contact our team in London and we’ll get you booked in.
